Delete your data

Use this page to ask us to delete your Ikolvi account and the data attached to it. It applies to every app we publish, currently Simple Mileage Tracker and Link2Basket. There is no charge, and you do not have to give a reason.
Before you ask
Some of what you may want removed is not held by us at all, and some of it we are required to keep. Worth knowing which is which before you send a request.
- If you never signed in to Simple Mileage Tracker, your records only ever existed on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes them, and there is nothing on our servers for us to remove.
- If you did sign in, a copy of your account and its content sits in our database. Uninstalling does not touch it — this form does.
- Subscriptions are separate. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions first, or you will continue to be billed.
- Some records were never yours to begin with. Where an app caches what a public link resolves to, that entry is stored against the link rather than against any person and holds no account identifier — so there is nothing in it to erase. The per-app table below spells this out.
What gets deleted
Deletion removes your account and everything we hold against it. What that covers, and the few things that outlive it, differ per app.
Simple Mileage Tracker
Deleted permanently
Your account and sign-in credentials, your email address, and all content synced to it — vehicles, fuel and charging entries, odometer and gauge readings, costs, and any settings held against the account.
Retained
Records of purchases, which tax and accounting law requires us to keep for up to seven years. These are transaction records held by us and by Google Play; they contain no app content.
Never held against you
Photos submitted to camera features and text from voice commands. These are processed in memory and discarded when the request finishes, so there is nothing stored to delete.
Link2Basket
Deleted permanently
Your account and sign-in credentials, the email address, name and picture we received from Google, your chosen country, and every product you saved along with its notes.
Retained
Tap-through records, kept for commission reconciliation and fraud checks — but detached from you: your user ID is removed from them at deletion, leaving merchant, destination, country and time with no way back to your account.
Never held against you
Cached link resolutions. These are keyed by the link and country rather than by any person and hold no account identifier, so there is nothing in them to attribute to you or to erase.
Server logs are common to all of them and age out on their own within 90 days.
How long it takes
- We acknowledge your request within 5 working days.
- We verify you own the account — normally by replying to the address the request came from.
- Deletion completes within 30 days of verification, and we confirm when it is done.
- Encrypted backups holding the deleted records are purged within a further 60 days.
