Delete your data

Use this page to ask us to delete your Ikolvi account and the data attached to it. It applies to every app we publish, including Simple Mileage Tracker. There is no charge, and you do not have to give a reason.

Before you ask

Our apps are offline-first, so some of what you may want to remove is not held by us at all.

  • If you never signed in, your records only ever existed on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes them, and there is nothing on our servers for us to remove.
  • If you did sign in, a synced copy sits in our database. Uninstalling does not touch it — this form does.
  • Subscriptions are separate. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions first, or you will continue to be billed.

What gets deleted

Deleted permanently

Your account and sign-in credentials, your email address, and all content synced to it — vehicles, fuel and charging entries, odometer and gauge readings, costs, and any settings held against the account.

Never held anyway

Photos submitted to camera features and text from voice commands. These are processed in memory and discarded when the request finishes, so there is nothing stored to delete.

Retained

Records of purchases, which tax and accounting law requires us to keep for up to seven years. These are transaction records held by us and by Google Play; they contain no app content. Server logs age out on their own within 90 days.

How long it takes

  • We acknowledge your request within 5 working days.
  • We verify you own the account — normally by replying to the address the request came from.
  • Deletion completes within 30 days of verification, and we confirm when it is done.
  • Encrypted backups holding the deleted records are purged within a further 60 days.
